Note: these conditions govern the use of the Website only. The commercial terms and conditions applicable to the services provided by Quadco Engineering (engineering studies, calculations, training courses, etc.) are set out in separate agreements and quotation documents.

2. Applicability and acceptance

The use of the Website is subject to the conditions set out below. Accessing and using the Website implies that the user unconditionally accepts these conditions. If the user does not agree with these conditions, we ask the user to leave the Website and refrain from further use.

The use of the Website does not create any corporate relationship, partnership, agency relationship or any other legal relationship between the user and Quadco Engineering.

3. Accuracy of information

Quadco Engineering makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the Website is complete, correct, accurate and up to date. However, Quadco Engineering accepts no liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in the published information. Where Quadco Engineering becomes aware of any inaccuracies, it will correct them as soon as possible.

The information on the Website is intended solely to provide a general overview of the activities and services of Quadco Engineering. It is not tailored to individual or specific circumstances and should not be regarded as professional, technical or legal advice. In particular, descriptions of calculation methods, simulation techniques (FEA, CFD, etc.) and technical results on the Website are for illustrative purposes only and must not under any circumstances be used as the basis for concrete engineering or safety decisions without prior written advice from a qualified engineer. Quadco Engineering accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of such general information.

4. Know-How content and online calculators

The Website contains informational and educational content, including articles, guides and technical explanations published in the Know-How section (hereinafter “Know-How Content”), as well as one or more online calculation tools (hereinafter “Calculators”). The following conditions apply specifically to this content.

Know-How Content. All Know-How Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It reflects the state of knowledge at the time of publication and may not have been updated to reflect subsequent developments. Know-How Content does not constitute professional engineering advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for a project-specific analysis carried out by a qualified engineer. Quadco Engineering makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or applicability of the Know-How Content to any specific situation.

Online Calculators. The Calculators available on the Website are provided as indicative tools to support preliminary orientation and educational understanding only. They are based on simplified models, standard assumptions and idealised conditions that may not reflect the complexity of real-world engineering problems. In particular:

  • Results produced by the Calculators are indicative estimates only and do not constitute a certified engineering calculation, analysis or report.
  • The user is solely responsible for verifying all Calculator inputs and outputs and for assessing their relevance and suitability for the intended application.
  • Calculator results must not be used directly as the basis for design decisions, safety assessments, regulatory submissions or any other purpose requiring certified engineering calculations, without independent verification by a qualified engineer.
  • Quadco Engineering does not warrant that the Calculators are free from errors, that they will produce results suitable for the user’s specific application, or that they comply with any particular standard, code or regulation.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quadco Engineering accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury or other consequence — whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential — arising from or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, Know-How Content or Calculator results. The user assumes full responsibility for any use made of such content and results.

Where a project-specific, verified engineering analysis is required, Quadco Engineering invites the user to contact us directly to discuss the appropriate professional service.

5. Prohibited use

Users are prohibited from using the Website or its content in any manner that:

  • is contrary to any applicable law or regulation;
  • causes or may cause harm to Quadco Engineering, its employees, partners or third parties;
  • constitutes the unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution or public communication of copyright-protected material (see section 6);
  • disrupts, overloads or sabotages the technical operation of the Website, including the deployment of automated systems (scrapers, bots, crawlers) without prior written consent;
